As a tip for cold days, please consider for your child the onion look: thermal underwear (takes moisture to the outside), many thin layers (creates layers of air in between), waterproof and breathable outer layer .
Good shoes, it is better when it is waterproof hiking shoes. In rainy weather rubber boots are more suitable ( in summer).
Something for grilling, bread, vegetables, fruits (in summer), no sweets.
Water or tea.
Please label the bottles and the lunchboxes with your child's name
In summer, in order to recognise the ticks on the clothes, it is better when the children are dressed in light colours. Long pants, long-sleeved shit and a hat help to protect the child. In addition you can consider applying the tick repellent (available in pharmacies, bioshops and Reformhaus) on your child for the period of his stay in the forest. We suggest that you change the child's clothes right away, when the child comes home, and look him thoroughly for possible ticks.
