Here is our little friend Bibi!
Every week we meet with her in the forest. Together with the children she is happy to find the first greens in spring, to smell the scented flowers in summer, to explore numerous colorful leaves in autumn and to play in the snow in winter. Bibi loves nature, the forest is her home, and she likes to tell stories about it. Sometimes she asks if one can distinguish one plant form the other by the smell, and the children try to do so. Or she offers a child to make friends with a tree and to remember his new friend by touch and feel - so, that the child can find his new friend with eyes closed. What do you hear in the woods, when it's quiet? Can it at all be very quiet in the forest? And everybody takes hands behind their ears in order to hear better. Or Bibi just shows the children a Forest TV: it is amazing what you can see on the four-sticks-framed screen - everything! Bibi helps us to find the materials for crafting in woods - but most of the times the children do it much faster themselves. And when the children get back to playing together, running, romping and climbing our little friend hides back in the bag pocket. |
